Former AS FAR striker Tumisang Orebonye has shed light on the coaching style of Kaizer Chiefs’ new head coach, Nasreddine Nabi.
The Tunisian tactician, known for his attacking philosophy, is expected to bring a fresh approach to the Soweto giants.
Orebonye, who played under Nabi at the Moroccan club, has praised the coach’s emphasis on possession-based football and discipline.
The striker believes that Nabi’s tactical acumen and leadership qualities can turn Chiefs’ fortunes around.
“He is the type of coach who wants the ball to start playing from the back, with quick ball movement,” Orebonye said.
“Basically, he just likes to have more of the ball in terms of possession because it gives you superior control of the game.”
The former striker also highlighted Nabi’s strong emphasis on discipline, both on and off the field.
“He is a good human being, he was like a father to us all because he built a good relationship with his players,” Orebonye added.
As Chiefs embark on a new era under Nabi, fans can expect to see a team that prioritizes possession and controlled attacking play.
The Tunisian coach’s reputation for success suggests that he could be the catalyst for a resurgence at the Soweto giants.
