Ntshangase Finds New Home in Lower Tiers
Former Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has found a new club in the lower echelons of South African football.
The 31-year-old has joined SAFA KwaZulu-Natal ABC Motsepe League side Ditlou FC, formerly known as Stone Breakers FC.
Ntshangase, who parted ways with Black Leopards in April 2023, has been training with Ditlou FC for the past week as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
The experienced playmaker is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to the amateur side, bolstering their chances of securing promotion to higher divisions.
Ditlou FC, under the guidance of coach Lindokuhle Bhengu, harbor ambitions of winning the KZN ABC Motsepe League and subsequently securing a spot in the SA third division national playoffs.
The signing of Ntshangase is a significant step towards achieving this goal.
The former Amakhosi star’s career has seen him represent clubs such as Baroka FC and Marumo Gallants. His experience in the top flight will be invaluable to Ditlou FC as they aim to climb the football ladder.
