Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has finally unveiled their new head coach, appointing the experienced Mohamed Nasreddine Nabi to lead the men’s senior team.
The announcement, made on July 11, 2024, brings an end to a period of speculation and anticipation surrounding the vacant position.
Nabi, a 58-year-old Tunisian-born coach, boasts an impressive resume with experience managing top teams across Africa. His coaching qualifications include the coveted UEFA Pro license, signifying his expertise in the tactical and strategic aspects of the game.
“Kaizer Chiefs are delighted to confirm the much-anticipated appointment of Mohamed Nasreddine Nabi to the position of head coach of the men’s senior team. The 58-year-old, who holds a UEFA Pro coaching licence, brings with him a new technical support team.” Official Statement from Kaizer Chiefs X account said.
Accompanying Nabi to Kaizer Chiefs is a new technical support team, which includes Khalil Ben Youssef as the first assistant coach and Fernando Da Cruz as the second assistant coach.
This experienced coaching staff is expected to bring a fresh perspective and innovative approaches to the club’s playing style and player development.
