Nabi to Shake Up Chiefs Squad with Major Overhaul
Kaizer Chiefs are set to undergo a significant squad overhaul under the guidance of new coach Nasreddine Nabi.
The Tunisian tactician has conducted a thorough assessment of the current playing personnel and has identified players for departure and recruitment.
Nabi and his technical team have compiled a list of players deemed surplus to requirements, with four players earmarked for loan moves to rival PSL clubs. Additionally, a striker is set to leave Naturena, bringing the total number of departures to five.
While the specific names of the departing players have not been publicly disclosed, the club has already parted ways with Keagan Dolly, Njabulo Ngcobo, S’fiso Hlanti, Siyethembe Sithebe, and Jason Gonzales.
To strengthen the squad, Nabi has identified attacking reinforcements as a priority. Elias Mokwana and Fiston Mayele are among the targets as the club seeks to replace the departed David Saile.
The new era under Nabi promises to bring significant changes to the Chiefs squad, with a new captain and top earner set to emerge.
As the club finalizes its transfer business, fans can expect to see a rejuvenated and competitive team taking to the field in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
